NAB2012: Blackmagic Cinema Camera

Out of the blue Blackmagic Design announced its new Cinema camera.

 

  • $2,995
  • Records Raw in CinemaDNG or ProRes
  • Records to SSD drives in camera
  • 2.5K resolution
  • Thunderbolt port
  • Has a Canon EF mount (all MF of course)

Too early to say more but it looks very interesting at least.
